Pandora.com

I've just recieved an e-mail from pandora.com.

Pandora is an american internet radio with a wonderful search engine that allways tend to find surprising new songs from bands i've never heard of - good songs and good bands - that is.

But now i've recieved this e-mail telling me, that in the future Pandora will only be available for citizens of the US because of some international licensing constraints! What happened to the no-boundary-free-for-all-let's-be-one-big-happy-family-internet-thing! It's not like it's possible to download the music or anything, so what's the problem? Small men in gray suits i guess...

I've allways thought of Pandora, as a way to get some attention to some small bands (like Windermere), that doesn't have unlimited access to the more traditionel airwaves - if people like what they hear, chances are, they might just go and by the damn album! Who cares about a few pennies from licensing fees...
